The Historic District Commission met on Oct. 4, and the meeting took less than 10 minutes. The agenda had one item, and that application could have been handled with an administrative approval. With City Historic Preservation Officer Kyle Palmer unavailable, commissioners considered the application at the table.

Susie Allen, at 10 Alamo St., had already received approval to replace a glass block window with a vinyl window with frosted glass. Because of delays in locating a new window, Allen asked to replace the frosted glass with clear, and all agreed.

The HDC will next meet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18. Level III applications were due Oct. 5, and Level II applications were due Oct. 11.
