Hello all, I hope y’all had a great week I know it’s been good for us.
Shad Raps has come out with some new colors, check them out… Jigs have been working well, and swimming minnows, white body or smoke colored, are good for every fish in the river right now.
Fishing flats and gravel bars has been really good for white bass, trout and walleye that have not made it back to home from spawning in Table Rock Lake. Get down deep then pump and reel up the line. They like it when you dig down deep and then stop it. They like it on the drop.
I love to fight white bass but it’s not my favorite fish to eat. It seems they are all here one day and then gone the next, and they are still making their way back to Table Rock Lake. That’s why you have to be out there nearly every day just to track to see where they are.
The girl you see in this picture, Vanessa, was in the paper two weeks ago. She’s our Dallas birthday girl and this is the fish that she caught while waiting on me to get to the boat ramp before I took her out to fish that day. That’s a diehard fisherperson right there.
The lake has been good, also. Again, you want to concentrate on your points, gravel bars and flats, and orange colors in crank baits in lake has been the best for me.
