I hope everyone had a great week last week. We had a few good days of fishing even with the temperatures the way they were.
Great reports on crappie and trout again this week. I was reading the article about how it’s always fishing season in Arkansas, year ‘round, and that couldn’t be more true. It’s one of the many things I love about this great state.
You might have to change up your techniques, your methods, and for sure you’re clothing, but you can always go out and catch a fish anytime of the year in Arkansas.
Like these troopers! They went out with Richard this past week Nick and Tesia came up from Dallas on a mini-vacation. When they hit the river that morning it was 14°.
Nick got started with first fish but once Tesia finally got on the board, it was over. She went on to catch the most, prettiest, and biggest fish of the day.
They let everything go that day except for Tesia’s thick almost 18 in. rainbow. They took that one home for a nice dinner.
There is never a bad day to go fishing if you’re dressed properly.
