Hello fishing fans, most of you know that when the dogwood start to bloom, the white bass show up. Here’s a great picture of one caught on Sunday in the White River. Kevin at Book It and Hook It has been putting fish in his boat, and whether it’s trout, white bass, or multiple other gilled vertebrates, he can put you on the fish. He can also take groups out for a day of fishing that will add a day to your life. Look up Book It and Hook It on Facebook for more great pictures, and give them a call at (479) 616-7352

Pick Kevin’s brain, follow his advice, book a trip, I can guarantee you will learn something new even if you’re an expert fisherman. Kevin says the white bass are biting best in the morning and late evenings, and spinners and small crankbaits are working best to entice them.

Walleye are finished spawning and are back to feeding, so minnows on ¼ in. jigheads are the best.

Trout are good throughout the White River right now, all the way down to Houseman Access. And look at that trout! This could be you!

Get out, get fishing, this is the best time of the year. If you prefer sightseeing on the White River or Beaver Lake, or want to snag trout, a trip on the water with Custom Adventures Guide Service has the boat and the guide. Give me a call at (479) 244-5259. Take a kid fishing, I’d love to help you with that part of their education.
