Good Day! I hope this fishing report finds everyone in good health and good spirits. We have had some great days off and on to fish this past week. I hope you were able to take advantage of those days or at least, played sick one day. The fish have given up on the Yo-Yo game and just stayed consecutively biting. Tired of going in for cold…. back out for warm.

Certain weather factors cause the fish to bite more and some cause them to bite less or completely stop biting on some days. But not these last two weeks, they have been eating away. If you haven’t caught a fish in the last two weeks, it`s your own fault.

Fishing was great all over Northwest Arkansas, in ponds, creeks, rivers, and lakes. I often overlook Table Rock Lake. And I have no idea why, it`s not the long drive over to Holiday Island, a whole 15 minutes. Might be because Beaver Lake and White River are in my backyard, and Leatherwood and Black Bass Lake are on the way into town.

But I might have to take a hike over to Table Rock this week, after seeing Shaun Knight`s really nice smallmouth that came out of Table Rock Lake this week. He said he was using Flicker Shad and swim baits trolling in his kayak, then bam, the bite was on.

When I first saw the picture of the fish, I took it for granted that the fish came from the Kings River because that’s where he spends most of his time fishing. He takes people out on guided trips on the Kings and a few other spots in our area. Look him up on Slack Water Fishing Guide Service, and see some of the best catch-and-release pictures and videos I have seen.
