Guns have more rights than people

434

I do not know of the man who was assassinated for his right of free speech. I do know of the many students gunned down for the simple right of attending their school. Are they less than their people left behind who will never recover from this fact, students hunted down in the classroom with a teacher or friend willing to shield them or the classmate beside them who didn’t survive the slaughter?

Where is your public outrage?

The prevailing issue is gun rights over public safety. Those students, kindergartners, and their teachers were targeted, too. Where are they in our public discourse and outrage?

With great sorrow,
