Great weekend, again

Editor,
Wow! What an amazing Spring Diversity Eureka Springs had last weekend.

Thank you to the City of Eureka Springs, office of Mayor Butch Berry, Chamber of Commerce. Eureka Springs Police Department, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and many sponsors for support during Diversity Weekends.

Cheers and bravo to the wonderful venues that hosted events this spring. We had more live music and incredible drag shows all over town than we have had in past Diversity weekends. Performers showed that drag is not a danger to our, or any, community.

The family friendly Official Drag Queen Bingo at Brews was again filled to capacity with families and children playing a fun game while being entertained and winning prizes from multiple local businesses.

This year in the park we had a great turnout with many visitors from all over the United States, many for the first time. Thank you to Erin Detherge, D.J. Testube for keeping everyone in the park dancing and engaged in a spirit of community and love.

Diversity Weekends are part of Eureka Springs with the love that it receives from this wonderful community that we call home.
