George Don Butler of Eureka Springs, Ark., was born December 22, 1938, in Blue Eye, Ark., to Clarence Roscoe and Luveney (Youngblood) Butler. George passed away Friday, June 2, 2023, in Eureka Springs, at age 84.
George was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, racing, and excavation but most of all he had a great love for his family and friends.
George is survived by his son Jim Butler of Eureka Springs, Ark.; grandsons Howard Butler, Elliot Butler, Kevin Young (Amanda) and Kristopher Young all of Eureka Springs; granddaughter Jayme Butler of Eureka Springs; great-grandchildren Kenneth Butler, Alexia Butler, Elizabeth Young, Gracie Young, and Kevin Young, Jr., all of Eureka Springs; one brother Joe Butler (Connie) of Idaho, daughter-in-law Carol Butler, four sisters-in-law, as well as many other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife Norma Butler, parents Clarence and Luveney Butler, daughter Terri Young, son-in-law Richard Young, and daughter-in-law Rachel Butler.
