Garry Carl Hoover is preceded in death by his parents, Warren Paul Hoover, Sr., and Virginia Lee Lugenbeel Hoover; his wife, Shirley; son, Mark Allen Hoover; and four brothers and three sisters.
Cherishing his memory are his daughters, Natalie Hoover Barber of Vermont, Carla Faye Hoover Ramsey and husband, Jason, of Enola, Ark., Kevin Hoover and special friend Melissa of Greenbrier, Ark., 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, special friend Linda Myers of Berryville, Ark., two sisters Elizabeth (Betty) Huffman and Bobby Loriaux both of Rogers, Ark., and lots of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
Garry served in the United States Air Force from August 1, 1961 to April 29, 1966. He faithfully served his country during the Vietnam War era.
Garry was always there to help anyone he could and went above and beyond for his family. He had a passion for antique cars and a love for music. He will be remembered and honored as a loving, caring man who continually put others, family and friends, above his own needs. He knew the meaning of hard work, respect and integrity.
Memorial Service at Nelson’s Funeral Home in Eureka Springs, Ark., was Nov 2, 2019 followed by a graveside Service at Pee Dee Cemetery with military honors in Clinton, Ark.
