Fundraising is an extreme sport

Thank you to all you dear souls who contributed to the Eureka Springs Goddess Gala at the Basin Park Hotel ballroom in April. Our team of volunteers juggled complicated schedules to make this the best gala ever.

Every donation, loving thought, positive suggestion and dollar is now helping Grandma’s House, that serves Baxter, Boone, Carroll, Madison, Marion, Newton and Searcy counties with four locations (Berryville, Harrison, Huntsville and Mountain Home) rescuing 363 children in 2023.

This party of goddesses in amazing costumes, ranging from ages five to 90, celebrated by feasting drumming, hula hooping, belly dancing, laughing and blessing food, water, children and seeds.

Ticket sales, raffles, a silent auction and donations raised $5,489.

Mark your calendar, Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the Basin Park Hotel ballroom is the 17th Annual Goddess Gala.

Love,

Valerie Hubbard Damon

  1. The Gala was so much fun. I’ve purchased tickets before but haven’t gone. Friends talked me into it this year, and I’m so glad. I met some delightful women and enjoyed it immensely. What a wonderful charity and community service, Valerie!
