Frederick W. Walker of Eureka Springs was born in Texarkana, Arkansas, March 22, 1943, to Addie Van Walker and Charles Walker. He was raised in Texas before coming to Eureka Springs in 2017. Ted passed away March 4, 2025, in Eureka Springs at age 82.
Ted was stationed in Europe as a civil employee for the military, where he worked as a digital cartographer. He was a kind and gentle man who loved to bake cakes and give them away to people who were having a birthday or who may have helped him and other members of the community.
Ted also loved any animal and took in 3 stray cats.
On April 9, 2002, Ted was united in marriage to Sandra Walker who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his sons Austin Walker and Colin Walker, along with other family members and friends.
Ted is preceded in death by his parents and brother Wes Walker.
