Ennui is eroding

Editor,

Last week, I watched the Democratic National Convention and my weariness began to be replaced by hope and energy.

Our beloved America could heal with elected representatives who put country before their pocketbooks, who are anti-racist and respectful of women’s leadership, who are decent and loving.

This election in 70-something days is extremely important. “Good trouble” and good votes can change the atmosphere to one we can be proud of and can make equality and compassion realities.
