Editor,
On Dec. 2, 2018, Chancie (Bud) Clark suffered a stroke at our home. The quick action of your amazing EMTs saved his life. He was airlifted to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville where he was met by doctors ready to go to work. A blood clot on the brain was removed and later and MRI and CAT scan revealed no signs or residual signs of the stroke.
Every doctor involved sang the praises of these fine young members of your very elite team, so to Billy Summers, Billy Hayes, Brandon Blackston, Josh Beyler and Casey Combs, our family says Thank You for your dedication to the work you do – saving lives and making the Eureka Springs community know that we have the best emergency system possible.
You are all heroes and WRMC agrees with us.
Happy ending! Bud came home before noon Dec. 4! Our Christmas miracle!
