Douglas D. O’Connor, a resident of Rogers, was born Sept. 18, 1965, in Berryville, Ark. He went to be with his Savior on May 25, 2021, in Rogers, Ark. His parents were Duane and Doris (Groblebe) O’Connor. Both preceded him in death.
Doug was a 1983 graduate of Eureka Springs High School. He also graduated from the Nashville Auto Diesel College in Tennessee and spent his adult years working as a diesel mechanic and as an auto body repair technician. Doug was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by four children: Dustin O’Connor and wife, Kara, of Marengo, Ill.; Dillon and wife, Skyler O’Connor; Delaney O’Connor; and Drew O’Connor, all of Rogers. He is also survived by two grandchildren Blayklee and Dawson Fielding of Rogers; one sister Diane and husband, Steven Weems, of Eureka Springs; niece Sarah Weems of Conway; two nephews Ian and Ethan Weems of Eureka Springs; aunts, an uncle, and cousins. He is also survived by his special friend Tami Murray.
