    My doctor sent me in January of 1971

  1. What’s your favorite season in Eureka Springs?

    Not Winter

  1. Are you optimistic or pessimistic about the current state of the world?

    The world is perfect in exactly the same way as a huge explosion is perfect every second that it’s happening.

  1. Do you have a favorite book?

    It’s either Persuasion or Mansfield Park

5.What’s your favorite comfort food?

   Fresh figs.

  1. What’s your biggest life regret?

    That I wasn’t kinder.

What six dinner guests would you be delighted to serve?

Mozart, my great-grandfather, Joseph Garstang, Benjamin Franklin, Elizabeth Wittelsbach and Wilfred Owen.
