Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jonathan Edward White was arrested July 27 on a probable cause warrant after allegedly assaulting his wife. White was taken into custody at a residence in Berryville, according to a CCSO press release.
White, 31, was booked into the Carroll County Detention Center on charges of Aggravated Assault on a Family/Household Member – Class D Felony; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 counts) – Class D Felony; Possession of a Controlled Substance/Methamphetamine – Class D Felony. He had notified CCSO of his intention to resign before the incident last Wednesday.
White is being held on no bond in the Benton County Detention Center, awaiting his first judicial appearance.
