July 14

12:26 p.m. – Following up on a report about an injured deer on Spur Ln. ended when no deer was located.

12:54 p.m. – Officers made contact after receiving a report of dogs in a vehicle on N. Main. The dogs were fine.

1:48 p.m. – Officers took a report regarding a subject being harassed by a neighbor.

July 15

12:35 p.m. – Animal Control assisted with an injured deer by the highway.

4:04 p.m. – Officer responded to a call about accidental damage to the Crescent Hotel and took a report.

6:12 p.m. – A citation was issued following a parking complaint at the Carnegie Library.

9:54 p.m. – A female was arrested at a traffic stop on Van Buren for driving on a suspended license.

11:14 p.m. – Madison County requested assistance in locating a female they had charges against. She was not located.

July 16

8:35 a.m. – Officers detained a female subject on an agency assist for another county.

12:16 p.m. – A male was arrested on an outstanding warrant at a routine traffic stop.

2:59 p.m. – Officers responded to a possible domestic disturbance.

10:07 p.m. – Caller reported neighbors burning in an Elk St. backyard. The fire was extinguished and ESFD made contact with the neighbors.

10:48 p.m. – Caller reported that pill bottles had been run over in a Van Buren parking lot. Officer found no pills in the bottles but did take the bottles to dispose of them.

11:22 p.m. – An individual was arrested for DWI at a traffic stop on Huntsville Rd.

July 17

3:21 a.m. – An alarm went off in a Van Buren building. Officer and keyholder determined that all was OK.

7:28 a.m. – Officer advised a man to not take money from the Basin Park fountain. He put it back.

11:56 a.m. – No report was needed for a private property parking lot accident.

11:59 a.m. – Officers responded to a 2-vehicle accident on the highway. A report was taken.

7:56 p.m. – A highway cleanup crew reported that an intoxicated driver attempted to drive through their cleanup site. A male was arrested for DWI.

July 18

12:31 a.m. – Caller reported a Jeep repeatedly being driven into his driveway on Judah at a high rate of speed, honking and leaving. Officers were unable to locate the Jeep.

8:04 a.m. – A male was arrested on Passion Play Rd. on an outstanding warrant.

10:30 a.m. – Officers searched for and found a possibly suicidal male who was OK.

11:16 a.m. – Animal Control helped with an armadillo stuck in a drainage pipe.

10:04 p.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated driver on South Main. Officer located a vehicle matching the description, but it was parked.

10:48 p.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated male lying on the sidewalk on Main St. He was able to get a ride home from a family member.

July 19

12:53 a.m. – Officers arrested a female on Van Buren for DWI and another individual for public intoxication.

11:48 a.m. – Officer took a report for a hit-and-run accident.

10:53 p.m. – Officers responded to multiple 911 hang-ups on Oakridge. They made contact with a male who was OK and said the calls were accidental.

11:21 p.m. – A male throwing rocks at customers was arrested for disorderly conduct.

11:46 p.m. – A possibly intoxicated driver was reported. Officers made contact and the driver was not intoxicated.

July 21

8:20 a.m. – A business alarm got a response.

10:17 a.m. – A report for a vehicle vs. motorcycle accident on the highway was taken.

12:08 p.m. – A report was taken on a 2-vehicle accident on Ojo.

2:34 p.m. – Officer did a welfare check for a possible domestic situation. Nothing physical occurred and everything was OK.
