March 24
5:49 p.m. – Caller reported seeing a red truck parked on Pivot Rock Rd. matching the description of a recently stolen truck. Officers checked and found it was not the stolen truck.
10:21 p.m. – Officer found an open door on Armstrong and called the keyholder to come and secure it.
March 25
1:05 a.m. – When caller reported a house fire on Fuller St., officers and ESFD responded. The fire was extinguished, and one officer was treated for minor lacerations. The displaced were put in contact with emergency management and the Red Cross.
1:33 p.m. – When officers responded to a truck stuck on Kirk St., they learned that the company had a tow truck en route.
5:25 p.m. – Officer took a no injury accident report.
11:36 p.m. – An individual was arrested at a traffic stop.
11:47 p.m. – A business alarm on Van Buren was checked, the building was secure, and it was deemed a false alarm.
March 26
8:31 a.m. – When officer responded to an open 911 call from Huntsville Rd., everything was found to be fine.
10:02 a.m. – Officers responded to an E. Van Buren request for a welfare check. The male was found to be OK.
1:15 p.m. – Responding officer was unable to locate reported reckless drivers on Hwy. 23S.
March 27
11:10 p.m. – A female was arrested for intoxication at a traffic stop on Pivot Rock Rd. following a call regarding a reckless driver.
March 28
12:10 a.m. – Officer took a report for suspicious activity on Van Buren.
10:52 a.m. – A report was taken for vehicle damage done on W. Van Buren.
10:54 a.m. – Officer took a report on damage to one of the rooms at a Van Buren motel.
7:48 p.m. – A careless and reckless driver was reported on Mill Hollow Rd.
March 29
10:59 p.m. – A private property parking lot accident report was taken on Van Buren.
1:50 p.m. – Officer responded to a possible domestic disturbance on Van Buren.
4:35 p.m. – Officer took a harassment report on Main St.
There were also 71 traffic stops, 3 loud noise/person calls, 1 theft, 1 shots fired, 1 gas leak, 3 road closures, 6 parking complaints, 1 trespassing, 1 hit-and-run, 1 fraud, 0 animal complaints and 1 sales call, among others.
