Sept. 10

12:48 p.m. – A report was taken on an unattended death on Victoria Woods Blvd.

Sept. 11

9:40 p.m. – Caller said his cell phone was stolen. The phone was located and returned to the owner.

Sept. 12

1:42 a.m. – A female was arrested at a routine traffic stop on Huntsville Rd.

8:51 a.m. – Officer was dispatched for a burglary alarm on Main St., but the call was cancelled because an employee had entered the code incorrectly.

11:10 a.m. – Officer checked the area around Frisco St. for reported possible gunshots but did not find anyone or hear shots.

12:22 p.m. – Officers spoke with disputing neighbors on Van Buren who agreed to get along.

Sept. 13

4:32 a.m. – Officer was advised by a motorist of a suspicious male walking on the US 62W. He was not located and CCSO was advised.

8:17 p.m. – Caller near Main, Armstrong and/or Spring reported a train horn going off downtown. Responding officers said it was likely related to a Jeep event, but the event was over, and they heard no horn.

11:03 p.m. – A male was arrested at a routine traffic stop on Kingshighway.

Sept. 14

4:39 a.m. – Caller reported someone digging in a dumpster on Main St., but it was really a raccoon.

Sept. 15

1:22 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on a neighbor who had walked off and a male was chasing after her. Officers did not locate either of the parties in the city.

Sept. 16

2:18 p.m. – Officers received a request for a welfare check on Pivot Rock Rd.

2:23 p.m. – A parking complaint on Spring St. was received and dealt with.

10:10 p.m. – Caller advised that a vehicle hit his in a Van Buren parking lot and the driver was possibly intoxicated. A man was arrested for that.

(There were numerous extra patrols, 1 missing person, 1 found property, 3 disputes, 6 animal complaint (not including the raccoon), daily school walkthroughs, and one question about the weather.)
