August 22

10:45 a.m. – Officer and EMS responded to an accident between a vehicle and a bike rider. The rider was transported to the hospital and a report was taken.

12:34 p.m. – Officers received a report of found property on Spring St. One of them retrieved it and returned it to ESPD.

1:06 p.m. – Officer made a traffic stop and issued a warning.

1:22 p.m. – Officer made a traffic stop and issued a citation.

1:41 p.m. – A report was taken in a dispute between tenants and property owners.

1:42 p.m. – A report of a vicious dog in a residence resulted in an officer responding for a secondary issue.

1:44 p.m. – Officer made a traffic stop and issued two warnings.

1:56 p.m. – A welfare check was performed on a subject’s son.

10:08 p.m. – An alarm that was set off by an employee was cancelled before dispatch.

August 23

12:10 a.m. – A deer with a broken leg was mobile enough to run away when it was approached.

2:26 a.m. – Caller advised he was being stalked and harassed by an ex-girlfriend. A report was filed.

3:23 a.m. – Officer moved a dead deer from the highway.

2:23 p.m. – A domestic disturbance that occurred the night before got a report.

7:35 p.m. – Report of a male and female smoking marijuana in a vehicle in a Van Buren parking lot were way gone on arrival. The manager was spoken with.

August 24

9:20 a.m. – Officer assisted with traffic control for utility work on Passion Play Rd.

11:16 a.m. – Officer assisted with traffic for a broken down vehicle on Kingshighway.

1:03 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident on Main St. resulted in one of the subjects getting arrested on a county warrant.

2:53 p.m. – A subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant and transported to CCSO.

August 25

3:07 a.m. – A subject was arrested at a traffic stop on an outstanding CCSO warrant.

9:29 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident on Van Buren resulted in one driver getting arrested for DWI.

2:27 p.m. – ESFD was toned out for a fire outside city limits.

4:10 p.m. – Officer took a report for theft of cash.

4:42 p.m. – A warning was issued at a traffic stop.

4:49 p.m. – Caller said she was being harassed by her neighbor.

5:04 p.m. – A warning was issued at a traffic stop on Huntsville Rd.

5:14 p.m. – A warning was issued at another traffic stop on Huntsville Rd.

8:21 p.m. – A male reported harassment at his place of work. Officers advised him on how to file a protection order.

8:27 p.m. – Caller reported a possible gunshot victim at the Crescent Hotel. Upon arrival, officers were informed that the hotel was doing a murder mystery show and the victim was an actor with fake blood.

9:53 p.m. – There was a report that people who were not employees were inside the post office late at night. Officers checked the doors, which were all locked, and everything looked good to them.

August 26

1:51 a.m. – Officer made contact with people sleeping in a vehicle behind Pine Mountain Village and advised them to move along.

1:43 p.m. – Officers cleared up a S. Main traffic jam.

1:49 p.m. – A parking complaint resulted in a car being moved.

3:15 p.m. – A report was taken for a private property accident.
