Sept. 5

6:08 p.m. – A highway retail clerk said a male came into the store and exposed himself. A report was taken.

7:42 p.m. – A man was arrested at a traffic stop on local charges.

11:37 p.m. – A woman was arrested at a traffic stop on local charges.

Sept. 6

5:09 a.m. – A man was arrested at Lake Leatherwood campground on local charges and a warrant.

8:23 a.m. – Officers made contact at a welfare check and all was fine.

10:17 a.m. – Caller reported a suspicious vehicle, but it was in a private parking area not belonging to the caller.

10:23 a.m. – A report was taken at a residence regarding a prior incident involving personal threats.

10:50 a.m. – A business reported a customer passing stolen checks. Caller was advised how to deal with the proper agencies and a forgery report was taken.

1:12 p.m. – A report of a vehicle matching the description of one involved in an incident was turned over to the sheriff’s office.

3:05 p.m. – The driver of an 18-wheeler said he accidentally backed into a car at a liquor store.

6:16 p.m. – Officers were sent to a parking lot behind a business where a vehicle was parked and running for two days. They spoke with a male in the vehicle.

7:50 p.m. – Officers were dispatched to a garage with a light on, but no one was supposed to be at the house. On arrival, no one was found and the light was off.

Sept. 7

12:31 a.m. – ESPD responded with EMS to a medical call involving a juvenile.

12:31 a.m. – CCSO notified ESPD of a 911 open line, but no one in distress was found in the area.

6:32 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor had their television up too loud, but officer found no loud noise in the area.

9:02 a.m. – Officers took a report at an unattended death.

11:15 a.m. – When officers responded to a welfare concern, they spoke with the husband who said the female caller had dementia and needs to stay home for her own safety.

5:39 p.m. – Officer took a report on a male connected to a hit-and-run on Spring St.

Sept. 8

12:44 a.m. – Caller reported a car parked right in front of an office at apartments. Officers found nothing suspicious and advised caller of options.

9:42 p.m. – Officers responded to an abandoned vehicle call and found people in the car who said they were lost and had pulled over to find directions.

Sept. 9

4:24 a.m. – An alarm at a highway gas station went off but employees were found on premises, and it was a false alarm.

1:35 p.m. – Officer responded to a business regarding a suspicious vehicle parked overnight. When contacted, one of the store owners said they had been given permission to park there.

1:38 p.m. – A business owner who wanted a former employee removed from the property. The former employee wasn’t there but would be trespassed if he came back. Owner just wants his keys back.

8:11 p.m. – Caller wanted to talk with an officer about a guest who had an issue with the inn’s pet policy. An information report will be filed.

9:01 p.m. – Officers were dispatched to a downtown hotel where a few cars were parked in the fire lane. They got tickets.

10:42 p.m. – Officers arrested an intoxicated male who was also trespassing.

11:35 p.m. – A highway business alarm went off and officers spoke with employees who said they were trying to lock the door before the alarm went off, they just didn’t make it.

Sept. 10

12:44 a.m. – Two females were arguing in the middle of Mountain St. but when officers asked if everything was okay, the women said they didn’t want to talk about it.

12:18 p.m. – Officers went to a hotel where a man would not leave and was threatening to use a gun. He turned out to be known to ESPD as having had mental issues. He was taken to ESH.

6:56 p.m. – Caller reported an erratic driver. Officers found him and pulled him over and he was arrested on an ESPD warrant.

8:28 p.m. – A fire alarm went off, then caller called back and said her son pulled the alarm and they got it reset.

Sept. 11

8:42 p.m. – A man reported his estranged wife for using his credit card. A report was taken.

8:42 p.m. – A man turned himself in on an outstanding ESPD warrant.

Sept. 12

1:13 a.m. – A report was taken on a downtown hit-and-run.
