May 24

1:07 p.m. – A vehicle was reported for sticking out of a parking space downtown and into the street. Officers determined it was not at issue.

1:14 p.m. – Trespassers staying in a tent were told to move on.

1:20 p.m. – A male at a highway business was possibly threatening but no report was needed as all was found to be fine.

3:07 p.m. – Subject called 911 to report that someone had stolen his meds. No report.

May 25

2:38 a.m. – A neighbor dispute led to a female calling to file a report on a male she said was threatening her. A report was taken.

3:27 a.m. – Gunshots were reported but not located.

4:23 a.m. – Officer was dispatched to get an opossum out of a family kitchen, and he did.

6:44 a.m. – A person called threatening to hurt him/herself but had driven away before officers arrived.

10:16 a.m. – Trespassers squatting in a motel room were told to leave.

10:40 a.m. – Sighting of a wanted subject led to an arrest and the subject taken to the county on a warrant.

11:25 a.m. – A welfare check was performed when someone missed a doctor’s appointment. All was fine.

11:26 a.m. – Report of a suicidal subject was checked. The person seemed in a reasonable state and was advised to work out issues with the spouse.

2:57 p.m. – A disturbance in a white Chevy was reported, subjects told responding officer they were just leaving and did.

4:05 p.m. – There was a Penske v. Ford pickup accident in front of a bank, and a report was taken.

4:29 p.m. – Caller said he was going to hurt himself, officers arrived, no report.

4:58 p.m. – A domestic disturbance at a downtown hotel resulted in a man leaving and he could not be located.

9:32 p.m. – A lady fell at a hotel, EMS arrived with officers, no report.

May 26

3:06 a.m. – Officers went to an apartment where a male and female were fighting. The incident was subdued.

7:58 a.m. – A reportedly naked person smoking marijuana on a balcony was way gone on arrival.

11:06 a.m. – An apartment resident was threatened by a neighbor, both parties were spoken with, a report was taken.

3:22 p.m. – A disgruntled customer threatened a cashier, but words were calmer when officers arrived.

4:19 p.m. – A Spring St. tree fell on a vehicle and took out some power lines. Public Works, power company and ESFD were notified, and there were no injuries.

4:25 p.m. – Officer responded to a missing vehicle report, and the vehicle was found in another parking spot where a friend had moved it.

May 27

1:41 a.m. – False alarm at a highway restaurant.

3:11 a.m. – Subject texted his wife to call 911 and that he needed to go to the hospital. Officers arrived and the subject did not need medical help. No report.

7:51 a.m. – An intoxicated person walking down the road was taken to the hospital.

12:47 p.m. – A burglary alarm went off and the alarm company was contacted to repair it.

3:49 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident was met by EMS, but all involved refused treatment.

7:19 p.m. – Subject said her mom’s upstairs neighbors were being erratic and throwing money off the balcony. Subject took her mom home with her.

8:47 p.m. – A man ditched his motorcycle at a business. He was located and charged on Berryville warrants.

9:16 p.m. – A man called about his wife who might be suicidal. He said she stole his car and he was worried about his daughter. Officers made contact with the wife and daughter who had gone to stay somewhere safe.

10:17 p.m. – A motel smoke alarm was set off by steam and there was no report.

May 29

9:07 a.m. – A family was unable to reach a subject by phone, officer checked everything was fine and the family was notified.

10:48 a.m. – Accidental 911 call.

11:38 a.m. – A report of an elderly man driving very slowly and on the shoulder was checked. On arrival the vehicle was parked and empty and had fictitious tags, and no one to issue a citation to was found.

12:35 p.m. – Water overflowing from an apartment got a welfare check, and a subject was transported to ESH by EMS with an officer escort.

2:55 p.m. – A patient escaped the ER and was outside naked, officer responded.

4:16 p.m. – A one-vehicle accident was reported but no vehicle was located.

4:35 p.m. – A subject at the hospital was destroying a room. Officers made contact.

6:57 p.m. – There were reports of a business owner yelling and screaming and threatening people in the middle of N. Main. No contact was made as no one was located.

7:57 p.m. – Subject said a man left a restaurant without paying, he said he would come back and pay.

8:56 p.m. – A baby deer reportedly in the middle of the road was not found.

9:21 p.m. – A subject at ESH was causing a disturbance and would not calm down. Subject did calm down and a report was taken.

9:23 p.m. – The man who was yelling and threatening 90 minutes earlier was contacted, given a warning, and got a report.

May 30

3:39 a.m. – Officer was dispatched to ESH to help with an uncooperative patient.

10:29 a.m. – A male was tearing up a room at ESH. He calmed down on arrival.

11:08 a.m. – A male at ESH was destroying a room and breaking windows, he was taken to another hospital for mental assistance.

2:27 p.m. – Two trespassers who had been warned were arrested.
