May 10

6:18 p.m. – Multiple calls came in regarding a vehicle stalled on Magnetic Dr. The vehicle was moved off the road.

May 11

11:57 a.m. – A vehicle was hit at a highway restaurant parking lot and a report was taken.

2:33 p.m. – An intoxicated woman was trying to leave a restaurant in her vehicle. Contact was made before she drove, and she was taken home by her daughter.

6:09 p.m. – Officers responded to a welfare check for an intoxicated subject under the control of other people. Contact was made and everything was OK.

9:21 p.m. – An accident between a motorcycle and a vehicle on US62E was checked. The vehicle driver had a warrant, and an arrest was made. EMS also responded.

May 12

4:40 a.m. – An officer was dispatched to an apartment complex on Pivot Rock Rd. due to a report that a subject was trying to slash tires. No contact was made.

7:45 a.m. – An alarm went off at a highway thrift store, but all was secure.

8:49 a.m. – A housesitter reported that a squatter had been living in the house while the owner was gone. The person was escorted off the property and put on the trespass list.

12:41 p.m. – A subject in a room at a highway motel was not supposed to be there. He was removed from the room and the property.

1:31 p.m. – A gun was found in the room where the man had just been evicted.

8 p.m. – A man was reported for walking near the road with an open container and falling on his face multiple times. He was arrested.

May 13

3:21 a.m. – An emergency call stated that a lady’s husband had been shot. On arrival there was no shot husband and EMS was notified for a mental evaluation. This emergency call ended with an arrest for public intoxication.

12:52 p.m. – A harassment report was taken at a highway restaurant.

1:37 p.m. – Caller reported a purse and cellphone were found on the steps of his property. They belonged to a female previously arrested.

2 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident report was taken.

May 14

1:27 a.m. – Officers went to Main St. regarding a female who had had too much to drink. EMS and officers checked on her, and she was cleared and released to her significant other.
