May 2

9:57 a.m. – The county called ESPD regarding a suspicious man with a cane walking on the side of the highway No report was needed.

11:33 a.m. – A man wanted to make a report of damage done to his wife’s car.

8:13 p.m. – A truck was reported on the side of the road with its wheels over the white line. The owner was located and the vehicle moved.

May 3

4:53 a.m. – Officer responded to a possible domestic that turned out to be verbal only.

5:14 p.m. – A neighbor dispute grew out of a parking issue, and the offending vehicle was gone on arrival.

5:45 p.m. – Possible gunshots were heard near Leatherwood trails, but nothing was found.

May 4

1:30 a.m. – A fire alarm went off in a highway building, ESFD was paged, and no reason for alarm was found.

1:56 a.m. – Officers were dispatched due to a female who said she was scared because someone was in her house.

4:48 a.m. – A domestic disturbance at a hotel was reported where the female could not get the male to leave, but officers convinced him to go ahead and leave.

5:35 a.m. – Officers headed back to the same place for the same reason and made the male leave again.

10:08 a.m. – A fire alarm went off for no apparent reason and ESFD determined that the alarm was faulty. The keyholder was notified and the alarm shut off.

May 5

3:24 a.m. – Officer was dispatched to an unattended death and the coroner made a report.

10:21 a.m. – An accident report was taken on E. Van Buren.

5:01 p.m. – People reported possibly hearing calls for help from a man hiding in a grocery store parking lot hay trailer, but when officers responded they found him to be fine.

6:22 p.m. – A man was reported for yelling in his car, and officers told him to be quiet.

May 6

1:05 a.m. – A traffic stop resulted in an arrest.

1:42 a.m. – Another traffic stop resulted in an arrest.

4:05 a.m. – A reported suspicious person at the bottom of Planer Hill was not found.

9:16 a.m. – A welfare check request was turned over to the county.

11:18 a.m. – A man said he keeps receiving calls because the number on a billboard is wrong, and yes it is.

5:58 p.m. – A bank burglar alarm went off and was cancelled by the responsible party who said it was accidental, they were doing some work and forgot to set the alarm to test mode.

May 9

1:30 p.m. – Officer made contact with a subject at a motel and an arrest was the result.

5:06 p.m. – An off-leash dog was reported in Basin Park annoying people and other dogs. When the cops showed up it had vanished.

5:25 p.m. – A possibly wanted person was reported downtown, but all was clear.
