Oct. 25

9:18 a.m. – Officer took a report on someone trying to steal gas.

10:24 a.m. – A verbal disturbance was mollified when officer separated those involved.

11:04 a.m. – A report was taken regarding a broken flowerpot at a Spring St. business.

Oct. 26

7:04 a.m. – A stop sign was down and other property damaged at N. Main and Douglas. The highway department was notified.

9:09 a.m. – A report of property damage on N. Main was taken.

3:59 p.m. – A parking issue at Lake Leatherwood was resolved without a citation.

4:31 p.m. – Check on an open line 911 call from Lake Leatherwood Park revealed that all was well.

5:31 p.m. – A subject reported for making too much noise was advised to stop.

Oct. 27

9:42 a.m. – A report was taken on a possible break-in on Van Buren.

10:28 a.m. – A bus was reportedly blocking one lane of traffic on Main St., but the problem was not located.

1:58 p.m. – Officer received a report of one vehicle taking up two spots on Mountain St., but no contact was made.

3:52 p.m. – A traffic problem on Magnetic was reported, but it was in the county, so CCSO was notified and then the vehicle was towed.

5:30 p.m. – A possibly intoxicated male was reported, contacted, and advised. No report was necessary.

7:07 p.m. – Following a welfare concern call, the subject was contacted and fine.

Oct. 28

9:40 a.m. – An alarm went off on E. Van Buren but all was found to be fine.

10:28 a.m. – A large delivery truck parked in a red zone on Center St. resulted in a cop and driver conversation.

12:02 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle that was parked for several days in the hospital parking lot was checked and staff will decide what to do about it.

2:52 p.m. – A car was reported as a traffic hazard, but officer determined the vehicle was out of the roadway.

4:50 p.m. – Officer responded to a 911 hang up, but all checked out fine.

7:50 p.m. – An erratic driver was reported on US62, but that driver was not located.

Oct. 29

7:49 a.m. – A one-vehicle accident on Huntsville Rd. got a report.

1:38 p.m. – Caller reported a suspicious male on the property, officer talked with him, and he moved right along.

1:38 p.m. – A criminal mischief allegation did not require a report.

4:22 p.m. – Officers responded to a theft on Victoria Woods but no report was needed at this time.

4:39 p.m. – There was a parking issue on Lake Lucerne Rd. until officer made contact. No citation.

5:08 p.m. – Officers were apprised of an intoxicated male in the roadway, but were unable to locate him.

Oct. 30

2:22 p.m. – A theft report was taken on Center St.

2:35 p.m. – An intoxicated male was reported on Spring St., but he was not located.

3 p.m. – A wanted person was transported to CCSO.

5:06 p.m. – A traffic accident on Armstrong qualified for a report.

7:47 p.m. – Suspicious activity was reported, but not located, near Dairy Hollow.

8:09 p.m. – A traffic accident with injuries on Van Buren resulted in an arrest and a report.

Oct. 31

6:41 a.m. – Officer responded to a panic alarm and made contact with the owner, finding that it was a false alarm.

11:47 a.m. – Officer responded to a theft call on W. Van Buren, but there was no report at this time.

3:56 p.m. – A reckless driver reported on Hwy. 23N was not located.

4:06 p.m. – A verbal domestic disturbance at the train depot resulted in the parties being separated.

5 p.m. – Suspicious subjects on Main St. were found to be okay.
