March 1

7:16 p.m. – When a suspicious vehicle was spotted on Mill Hollow Rd. and checked out, officers offered motorist assistance.

March 2

2:55 p.m. – County dispatch got a 911 from near the Quarter, but although officer spoke with several people, no one in distress was located.

3:50 p.m. – A hotel owner requested a report of a room being broken into.

8:26 p.m. – An off-duty deputy called in a reckless driver who passed on a double yellow on US62W. The driver was located at a highway roadhouse and warned about his manner of operating a vehicle.

March 3

9:56 a.m. – A cable pole fell across US62 at Avo.

3:26 p.m. – Traffic control was needed at US62 and Glenn.

8:28 p.m. – A suspicious male was reported at McDonald’s. No report was needed.

March 4

3 a.m. – An alarm service reported a holdup alarm at a hotel. Officer checked the property and found no sign of forced entry or unsecured doors.

10:15 a.m. – When officers responded to an apartment because a man kicked in a door, he was arrested on a felony bench warrant.

12:54 p.m. – Officer located a known wanted person and arrested him on an outstanding ESPD warrant.

1:58 p.m. – A guest who was intoxicated was attempting to leave in a vehicle but hotel staff coaxed him back to his room without incident.

6:41 p.m. – Neighborhood residents said a male they had assisted in the past was back begging for money and shelter, and they didn’t want him around. Officer spoke with complainants but did not locate the cadger.

11:47 p.m. – Officer who responded to a burglary alarm at a highway business found nothing amiss.

March 5

10:25 a.m. – When officers responded to a business alarm, they found an employee who assured them everything was secure.

3:14 p.m. – Suspicious activity on Mountain St. did not require a report.

4 p.m. – An abandoned vehicle on Spring St. was towed.

4:53 p.m. – A traffic stop resulted in an arrest.

7:41 p.m. – Officer responded to a motel regarding loud music.

10:45 p.m. – Officers went to a B&B to talk with a couple about suspicious activity that took place at a bar.

March 6

12:14 a.m. – A female was arrested on Spring St. for public intoxication.

12:36 a.m. – Officers spoke with a male in the ESPD lobby regarding a fight he was having with his girlfriend.

2:06 a.m. – A male was arrested at a traffic stop for possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, and no driver’s license.

2:16 a.m. – When officers responded to a residential altercation, they arrested a female for 3rd degree battery and public intoxication.

10:30 a.m. – A female turned herself in on a warrant.

12:27 p.m. – A traffic accident on Copper St. got a report.

1:20 p.m. – Speeding vehicles were reported but not located.

3:01 p.m. – A man was arrested following a traffic stop because his license was currently suspended.

3:26 p.m. – Officer took a theft report at a motel.

7:06 p.m. – A vehicle got all bollixed up trying to turn around at the end of Judah but a tow truck got it all straightened out.

7:32 p.m. – Loud music at a highway motel got a response.

9:16 p.m. – Officers assisted CCSO in stopping a vehicle on Hwy. 23N.

March 7

3:28 p.m. – Officers responded to a disturbance at a motel.

4:35 p.m. – A musician playing amplified music on Spring St. thought better of it after a visit from an officer.

9:20 p.m. – A male was pulled over and arrested for simultaneous possession of narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm.
