Jan. 25

10:39 a.m. – When caller reported a trespasser at his residence, paperwork was reviewed showing access to the property, so it became a civil matter.

6:32 p.m. – Officer assisted with a possibly combative patient.

11:13 p.m. – A highway business was found to be secure after a commercial alarm went off.

Jan. 26

2:53 a.m. – A possibly intoxicated driver in a white Honda Accord was reported, not located, on the west side of town.

11:06 a.m. – A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant after being pulled over for a traffic stop.

1:34 p.m. – A possible breaking and entering at a US62 motel was checked and no report was taken at this time.

5:57 p.m. – An abandoned vehicle was found at a highway business.

Jan. 27

4:34 a.m. – A criminal mischief report was written at a highway business.

7:53 p.m. – A welfare check on a homeless male was called in but he was not located.

Jan. 28

12:06 a.m. – An alarm was checked and all was found secure.

5:51 p.m. – When an officer went to Basin Park regarding a motorcycle parked in the park, it wasn’t there.

5:53 p.m. – When officer arrived to assist a traffic-congesting semi at 62&23 it was already gone.

6:27 p.m. – A male was spoken with in ESPD lobby about suspicious activity.

9:09 p.m. – Officers and deputies spoke with a responsible person about the suspicious activity.

10:06 p.m. – A woman was transported from the Madison County line to ESPD after being arrested on a failure to appear warrant.

Jan. 29

1:10 p.m. – Three males were arrested at a traffic stop for felony and misdemeanor possession.

4:03 p.m. – A male was reported jumping into traffic at Spring & Main but he was not located.

4:59 p.m. – Two people got into a disturbance at a pharmacy but after officer spoke with them it was resolved.

5:47 p.m. – A man who was involved in a civil dispute was taken into custody due to a warrant.

6:02 p.m. – A male wanting to leave a nursing home calmed down.

6:08 p.m. – Phone threats were dealt with.

Jan. 30

7:42 a.m. – A burglary alarm on E. Van Buren was checked and the business owner assured ESPD all was well.

5:15 p.m. – Officers did a welfare check on a woman who was found to be fine.

9:34 p.m. – Officers spoke with a caller regarding a break-in.

11:32 p.m. – Following an altercation, a man was arrested for disorderly conduct, 3rd degree battery and public intox.

Jan. 31

12:27 a.m. – When officers responded to Kingshighway near Eugenia for an open 911 call nothing distressing was found.

1:38 a.m. – An open 911 call from Hillside near Grand Ave. revealed nothing awry.

8:03 a.m. – A woman said two vehicles coming from Berryville almost ran her off the road, and one of them parked behind her downtown but was gone when officer arrived and not located in town. The driver called later to say she was dropping a worker off at a restaurant.

8:58 p.m. – An alarm at a downtown business was checked and all was secure.

10:03 p.m. – Officers went to a motel to talk with complainant about unauthorized vehicle use.

Feb. 1

12:07 a.m. – A business alarm went off downtown but everything was checked and in order.

8:55 a.m. – A downtown hotel manager wanted a vehicle parked in a loading zone to be towed. It was red tagged.

9:06 a.m. – The Parks Director reported damage to a stone monument in Basin Park.

10 a.m. – A woman who couldn’t get into an eye clinic while it was closed for lunch kicked the door and did damage. An officer spoke with the caller.
