11:58 a.m. – The highway dept. said one of their trucks was sideswiped on N. Main and the other vehicle neglected to stop. A report was taken.
2:19 p.m. – Officer spoke with a male regarding a child custody problem, but no report was necessary.
3:46 p.m. – A disturbance on Vaughn was dealt with.
4:03 p.m. – When officers responded to assist EMS with traffic they were advised they were no longer needed.
5:41 p.m. – Officer looked for but did not locate a reported reckless driver on Hwy. 23N.
Oct. 6
3:58 p.m. – A Nissan blocked a driveway on Mountain where the property owner couldn’t get out, so the Nissan got itself towed.
4:15 p.m. – A counterfeit bill was passed at an unnamed establishment.
7:16 p.m. – Caller said there may be a group of people living in a boat off Stadium Rd., but no boat.
9:59 p.m. – A lost or stolen handgun was reported.
10:52 p.m. – Officers arrested a man following a disturbance. He was charged with public intox.
Oct. 7
7:34 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident on Van Buren got a report.
9:50 a.m. – A woman was arrested on an outstanding ESPD warrant and CCSO charges.
10:58 a.m. – A woman was arrested for threatening people.
11:35 a.m. – A walk-in fraud report was taken at headquarters.
3:36 p.m. – While taking a two-vehicle accident report, officer arrested a woman on an outstanding felony warrant.
8:21 p.m. – While checking on a suspicious vehicle, officers arrested a man for possession of controlled substances.
11:23 p.m. – A deer was struck and reported but not located.
Oct. 8
11:33 a.m. – Caller reported stolen political signs from his property.
12:26 p.m. – Caller reported two collared pups hanging around the school playground. They were escorted to the pen.
8:34 p.m. – Officers checking a suspicious vehicle made contact with, and cleared, a male.
Oct. 9
8:29 a.m. – Officer took a theft report at a hotel.
1:05 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident at Van Buren and Valley View was tended.
1:40 p.m. – A theft and fraud report was taken at ESPD.
2:17 p.m. – A man was reported yelling near a Main St. store.
3:52 p.m. – A driver said someone threw something at his vehicle and information for a report was taken.
4:23 p.m. – CCSO got a call about two trespassers and handed it off to ESPD. Trespassers not located.
4:54 p.m. – Numerous calls about a one-vehicle accident on the west side of US62 were received and a report was taken.
8:26 p.m. – A possibly intoxicated male was reported walking along Hillside but he was cleared.
Oct. 10
2:12 a.m. – A loud party on Hillside was reported.
10:51 a.m. – A traffic accident on Van Buren did not require a report at the time.
1:43 p.m. – An accident on E. Van Buren did get a report.
2:42 p.m. – Multiple vehicles were reported overparking in a loading zone on Spring St.
4:26 p.m. – Caller said two males were about to fight outside a downtown bar, but the two split before the law arrived.
4:57 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported but not found.
5:12 p.m. – Caller said her daughter was sending concerning messages. Officers attempted to find the daughter and also notified CCSO.
6:06 p.m. – A 911 hangup from a hotel was cleared.
8:25 p.m. – A report was taken on a hit-and-run.
10:52 p.m. – Following a call about a downtown fight in progress, officers responded and arrested a man for public intox and disorderly conduct.
11:37 p.m. – Suspicious activity at US62 & Hwy. 23 was checked.
Oct. 11
12:05 p.m. – Caller said political signs were taken from his property on Washington St. He did not make a report but did want it documented.
3:51 p.m. – A Spring St. hit-and-run did not get a report at this time.
3:52 p.m. – A suspicious male was reported and arrested for criminal trespass.
6:40 p.m. – A hit-and-run on E. Van Buren did not get a report.
6:49 p.m. – An issue with a service dog did not warrant a report.
8:02 p.m. – A disturbance on College St. was addressed.
8:24 p.m. – A theft report was taken by phone.
10:38 p.m. – An intoxicated male at a downtown hotel was escorted to his room and advised to stay there.
11:19 p.m. – Motel guests were assisted in contacting the manager so they could be let in on arrival.
Oct. 12
12:26 a.m. – Officer responded to a criminal mischief call.
8:05 a.m. – Caller said a boyfriend/girlfriend got into a squabble. The female said it was verbal only and the male had already left the apartment.
9:28 a.m. – A bench was stolen from a thrift store.
9:40 a.m. – Political signs were stolen over the weekend on Prospect. A report was taken.
