December 9

10:43 a.m. – A suspicious call from an apartment complex resulted in the arrest of a woman on an outstanding ESPD warrant.

12:06 p.m. – Response to a suspicious circumstance was unfounded.

12:23 p.m. – A walk-in at the PD regarding harassment did not need a report.

December 11

8:36 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident on US62E did require a report.

12:52 p.m. – A domestic disturbance on Pivot Rock Rd. required officer to separate the parties who were in a verbal dispute.

3:01 p.m. – A loose dog got the attention of a person with a phone, who called police, who couldn’t find it. The dog.

4:04 p.m. – Officers were called to an apartment on Pivot Rock Rd. for a disturbance.

5:53 p.m. – Officer responded to a welfare concern, and all was found to be fine.

5:59 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle that was reported at an E. Van Buren business could not be located.

December 12

6:47 a.m. – The owner of a N. Main business called 911 to report that people were trying to break into his business, but the call was found to be unfounded.

12:58 p.m. – A hit-and-run in a grocery store parking lot got a report.

5:51 p.m. – A W. Van Buren traffic accident created a traffic problem.

6:29 p.m. – A female filed a report regarding a domestic disturbance.

December 13

5:35 p.m. – A possible downtown burglary was investigated.

6:46 p.m. – An alarm at a highway business was tended, nothing alarming was discovered.

7:44 p.m. – A 911 hangup from S. Main was checked but nothing distressful was found.

December 14

4:06 a.m. – Officer responded to a barking dog that then got itself plenty of attention.

2:09 p.m. – A loose dog was reported on Kingshighway but it was still loose after a futile search.

2:34 p.m. – A trespasser was reported at a business and was issued a trespass warning.

2:46 p.m. – A disturbance did not warrant a report.

3:20 p.m. – A hotel reported a suspicious person who checked out to not be suspicious.

5:04 p.m. – A welfare concern was checked and found to be fine.

6:23 p.m. – A reported suspicious vehicle was gone on arrival.

10:37 p.m. – A male was arrested at a traffic stop for DWI and a felony bench warrant out of Olathe, Kansas.

December 15

9:01 a.m. – A landlord/tenant issue required intervention.

10:05 a.m. – CCSO received a 911 call from a male on a stranger’s phone calling from Crescent Drive saying he wasn’t sure if he needed medical or police assistance. He said he was on foot walking toward the library. Officer made contact with a couple at the library who had been in a dispute. The male left on foot and the female was escorted back to her residence.

5:49 p.m. – Officers went looking for a male walking around yelling, screaming, cussing, kicking and hitting stuff, but he was not found.

6:11 p.m. – Officers were called were called to the same area because a man was upset. EMS was there, the man calmed down, and officers cleared.

December 16

1:16 a.m. – An alarm company reported a highway business alarm, but it checked out clean.

5:54 a.m. – Motion alarm at a business was checked and all was well.
