November 25

11:38 a.m. – A minor traffic accident at Spring and Pine Sts. got due attention.

1:53 p.m. – An open line 911 call was investigated but there was no sign of distress.

5:06 p.m. – A loose dog prompted a call to ESPD but when officer arrived the dog was nowhere to be found although its owner was tracking it.

5:23 p.m. – A woman who was putting balloon animals on a statue in Basin Park took them down after being counseled on city ordinances.

5:47 p.m. – Officer responded to report of a man stumbling down US 62 near the historic loop.

November 26

2:23 a.m. – A building on Main St. had an open door, so that was taken care of.

3:13 a.m. – A suspicious noise on W. Van Buren was reported and scoped out.

8:25 a.m. – An officer transported from Washington County jail to ESPD lockup.

10:10 a.m. – Criminal mischief was reported at Leatherwood Park.

5:16 p.m. – A disturbance was on Pivot Rock Rd. was called in, but no report was necessary.

10:10 p.m. – A domestic dispute required an officer to separate the offending parties for the night.

10:53 p.m. – An alarm went off, officers responded, nothing untoward was discovered.

11 p.m. – Officer was called to a residence due to a disturbance that he then settled.

November 27

4:06 p.m. – Officer was called to do something about a lost dog, so he picked it up and took it to the kennel.

November 28

3:41 p.m. – A loose dog was reported on Passion Play Rd. but officer was unable to assist.

10:02 p.m. – Officer drove halfway to Alpena and met the agency that had arrested a man who had an ESPD warrant out for violation of a protection order.

November 29

9:35 p.m. – Gunshots heard on Grand Ave. were investigated and determined to be a transformer that blew.

November 30

1:37 a.m. – Officers responded to a domestic disturbance that was all verbal.

9:31 a.m. – A private property accident at a motel required a report.

5:11 p.m. – Possible shots near Lake Lucerne were reported, but were in the county, not in town, so CCSO was notified.

5:12 p.m. – Officer attempted to make contact via phone regarding a theft.

8:57 p.m. – A welfare concern at ESH resulted in the subject not being located.

10:37 p.m. – Caller relayed that a woman was walking up Planer Hill with her hand out as though she needed help, but caller didn’t stop because there was a man not far behind her, so caller wanted an officer to check it out.

10:42 p.m. – Officers were called to a motel where a woman had walked in who had been hurt by her boyfriend. An ambulance transported her to hospital and a report was taken.

December 1

12:43 a.m. – An alarm at a highway business was activated for no apparent reason.

4:10 a.m. – A woman called to say someone was outside her house, but officer found everything to be fine and safe.

10:22 p.m. – A vehicle in a north Main St. parking lot was possibly broken into and a report was taken.
