August 19

9:08 a.m. – an officer was requested to do a welfare check at Victoria Woods.

11:35 a.m. – A person sleeping in public, who had been warned about that previously, was issued a citation.

3:39 p.m. – ESPD got a call from an agency asking them to check on five children whose mother has been gone since Friday.

4:12 p.m. – Officer went to Deer Lane to check on rodents that needed taking care of, but the man was gone so a note was left for the Animal Control Officer.

August 20

9:09 a.m. – An accident report was taken at a business.

3:27 p.m.– A traffic accident on E. Van Buren required a report.

5:23 p.m. – A 911 hangup was checked by location but nothing considered distressful was found.

6:35 p.m. – A person became lost at Lake Leatherwood but ESFD teamed up with ESPD and got the individual to safety.

10:42 p.m. – A dead pig in the road required moving.

August 21

11:03 a.m. – A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Pea Ridge.

3:44 p.m. –An officer responded to assist a state agent and no report was necessary.

6:08 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported on N. Main but it was not located.

9:31 p.m. – A domestic disturbance quieted significantly after arrival of an officer.

August 22

6:39 a.m. – A woman asleep in her car was found to be breathing but unresponsive. She was taken to ESH.

7:36 a.m. – A couple involved in a domestic dispute at a motel had to be separated and a report taken.

9:13 a.m. – Officer responded to an open line 911 call but found no sign of distress.

11:19 a.m. – A report was taken on a hit-and-run on N. Main.

1:56 p.m. – A report was taken on another hit-and-run near the library.

2:02 p.m. – An officer was called to referee a neighbor dispute and his ruling was that all parties avoid contacting each other and not trespass on each others’ property.

4:59 p.m. – A theft at a business required a report.

7:08 p.m. – Follow up on a reported assault did not require paperwork.

August 23

11:34 a.m. – A traffic accident at Bridge and Hillside did not require a report at this time.

4:49 p.m. – A vehicle reported as suspicious was not located.

6:11 p.m. – A theft was reported at a highway business.

August 24

2:58 a.m. – Caller reported an active intrusion alarm in the upstairs of her residence. It was checked, found secure, and the alarm was reset.

6 a.m. – A residential alarm was checked and all was secure.

9:16 a.m. – An alarm company reported basement activity, but all was found secure and undisturbed, so the alarm was set to be reserviced.

9:50 a.m. – A squatter was reported, located and advised not to return to the property.

11:10 a.m. – A man said he ran into a car and needed a report, so okay.

6:45 p.m. – A man walked into headquarters and said a subject was staying in his cabin without permission.

7:15 p.m. – An erratic driver was reported on W. Van Buren, but not located.

8:50 p.m. – A traffic stop resulted in a woman being arrested for DWI#2 and speeding.

9:01 p.m. – A theft was reported on Main St., but no report was needed.

9:39 p.m. – A traffic accident on upper Armstrong needed attention.

10:09 p.m. – A residential alarm went off on its own and there was no cause for alarm.

August 25

12:53 a.m. – A man got himself arrested for public intoxication and criminal trespass.

10:49 a.m. – A dispute at a retail shop required an officer to stand by while a customer and a cashier resolved their differences.

3:07 p.m. – Caller said he just had a minor accident and would appreciate a report, so he got one.

9:25 p.m. – Caller wanted an officer to check out a person who was not supposed to be there.

9:54 p.m. – A call came in complaining about trespassers.

10:12 p.m. – Officer responded to Gaskin Switch regarding trespassers who were told to leave and not return to the property.
