January 21

10:17 a.m. – A man stopped for traffic violations was arrested for driving on a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

1:41 p.m. – A traffic stop resulted in a man being arrested for an outstanding warrant from Benton County.

January 22

8:18 a.m. – Officers responded to an erratic driver on W. Van Buren, located and stopped the vehicle and found the driver to be fine. No report.

11:20 a.m. – A traffic stop for an expired vehicle license resulted in an arrest as the driver was driving on a suspended license.

2:22 p.m. – An alarm at a restaurant was false.

2:39 p.m. – A second alarm at the same business was also false.

5:09 p.m. – A fight in a N. Main parking lot was over before officer arrived to put a stop to it.

January 23

2:23 p.m. – A possible auto accident on Ridgeway was deemed not an accident and no report was needed.

January 24

6:02 a.m. – County dispatch notified ESPD about a female who had been assaulted and needed medical attention. EMS responded and treated her for injuries, and police arrested Adrian Paul Goings for aggravated assault of a family or household member, domestic battery 2nd, and resisting arrest.

7:47 a.m. – A private property accident at a local motel required a report.

6:46 p.m. – A residential disturbance was quieted and the parties were separated.

January 25

6:35 p.m. – A child was left at daycare after hours, but the mother arrived to pick up her child after police were notified.

11:03 p.m. – Traffic stop led to arrest of a driver with a suspended license.

January 26

12:47 a.m. – An employee who had been terminated refused to leave the premises until an officer arrived.

1:56 a.m. – A man was arrested for theft by receiving of a stolen license plate out of Oklahoma, where he also had three valid warrants.

2:38 a.m. – Officers went downtown to check out a report of gunshots.

2:39 a.m. – Officers responded to Spring St. due to a report of a suspicious male wearing orange running around.

11:40 a.m. – A Spring St. business reported a theft.

3:14 p.m. – Officers followed a reportedly erratic vehicle driver who was not reckless while under observation.

5:34 p.m. – Suspicious males were reported on Center St. but officers found nothing odd.

7:11 p.m. – A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a woman for possession of a controlled substance and a man for no proof of insurance and possession of a controlled substance.

11:45 p.m. – Officers stood by while a terminated employee at a motel gathered her belongings and left the premises.

January 27

11:19 a.m. – Caller reported a truck taking up two parking spaces and another vehicle parked in a handicapped space with no placard or license. When officer arrived the truck was gone and the car got ticketed.

11:28 a.m. – Caller reported a dog attack at an abandoned motel, but officer talked with involved parties and no report was required.

1:27 p.m. – A woman was arrested at a traffic stop for outstanding warrants on failure to appear and failure to pay.

3:31 p.m. – A Doberman was reported for talking around dragging his leash at a closed motel. Animal Control was advised.

January 28

12:50 a.m. – A reportedly intoxicated driver was searched for near US62 and Hwy. 23, but not found.

2:11 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported on Hayes St., so an officer responded.
