January 14

10:06 a.m. – Two people were arrested at a vacant residence for squatting. The male was charged with criminal trespass, breaking or entering, resisting arrest and criminal mischief. The female was arrested for criminal trespass, breaking or entering and carrying a prohibited weapon.

9:17 a.m. – Officers were requested to be on the lookout for a black Chevy Z71 pickup involved in a hit-and-run in Grandview.

January 15

3:37 a.m. – A combative male patient at an area nursing home refused treatment and walked off after an officer arrived.

4 a.m. – The male, requesting medical help, was taken to the hospital.

5:21 p.m. – Officer responded in reference to a male in a vehicle on E. Mountain lighting a bandanna on fire and throwing it on the ground. A report was taken.

January 16

11:54 a.m. – An alarm company responded to a residential burglary that was actually a false alarm.

5:02 p.m. – A reported reckless driver was stopped and deemed to be just fine.

5:09 p.m. – A suspicious male was reported on Spring St. but officer had no luck finding one.

5:56 p.m. – Officer contacted a male by phone in reference to suspicious activity on Vaughn St. No report was needed.

January 17

5:04 p.m. – Officer went to the west part of the city to pick up a lost dog and place it in the kennel until it later went on home.

January 18

2:55 p.m. – Officer responded to a report of shots being fired at a trailer park but was unable to locate the reason for the call.

8:27 p.m. – Involved parties were warned about the penalties of unreasonably loud music emanating from a downtown bar.

8:59 p.m. – A welfare check on a woman was requested but officers were unable to locate her.

January 19

1:52 a.m. – A construction crew working overnight requested extra patrol.

5:05 a.m. – Officer responded to a business alarm.

2:23 p.m. – Vehicles spinning tires trying to get up Mountain St. were reported, officers unable to locate.

2:41 p.m. – A red truck was reported for tire spinning on Mountain, but the truck was parked when the law arrived.

7:46 p.m. – A vehicle accident on Nova required a report.

10:23 p.m. – A vehicle was reported for either being driven recklessly or stuck in Pine Mountain Village.

11:01 p.m. – A business alarm clamored and police responded. There was no cause for alarm.

January 20

6:27 a.m. – County dispatch directed officer to a commercial burglary alarm but the building was secure, thus no report.

11:18 a.m. – A vehicle was pulled over for having no license plate. The woman driving was subsequently arrested for felony possession a controlled substance x2, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, no vehicle license, no liability insurance and carrying a prohibited weapon.

11:35 a.m. – A one-vehicle mishap resulted in a citation for the driver who walked away from the scene of an accident.
