October 8

6:49 a.m. – Resident claimed somebody’s car bumped into her car during the night.

9:35 a.m. – Another resident came home to find his front door kicked in. Constables checked out the scene.

4:09 a.m. – Resident in the west part of town reported a theft.

10:12 p.m. – There was a private property accident in a parking lot on US 62.

October 9

1:55 a.m. – Constables had to settle a dispute about occupancy.

8:13 a.m. – Vehicle veered off US 62 and down a ravine just west of downtown. Constables responded and EMS transported one person to ESH.

8:24 a.m. – Person loitering near an apartment complex and refusing to leave prompted a visit by constables who spoke with the complainant.

2:11 p.m. – Traffic accident on US 62 in the commercial area resulted in the arrest of one individual on an outstanding CCSO warrant.

3:03 p.m. – Local merchant told ESPD a man and woman with two dogs had been sitting outside all day refusing to leave. Constables dropped by and told them to leave and not come back.

6:18 p.m. – Caller from a nearby restaurant reported a man and woman causing a disturbance. Constable warned them returning to the property would be trespassing.

October 10

3:20 p.m. – Constable took a report on harassment.

3:21 p.m. – Constable went to check on a traffic problem but found the roadway was already clear.

11:56 p.m. – Constables assisted CCSO deputies in arresting a suspect in a hit-and-run accident.

October 11

11:35 a.m. – Resident above downtown claimed nearby dogs had been barking for two hours. Constable went to the site and found only a tiny puppy not being loud. Information was passed along to Animal Control.

12:05 p.m. – Call came in about a vehicle parked in the same spot just above downtown since last winter. Constable attempted to make contact with the owner.

12:34 p.m. – Individual called about an earlier incident with a customer.

6:18 p.m. – Suspicious male was lurking on a property in the western part of town. The constable looked for him to no avail.

October 12

8:08 a.m. – Car temporarily blocked traffic in a neighborhood, but the way was clear when constables arrived.

9:56 a.m. – Resident was concerned because she had not seen her neighbor in two days. Constables spoke with others in the vicinity who had seen the missing neighbor the day before but not since. Alert was sent to nearby authorities to be on the lookout for the individual.

5:07 p.m. – Concerned observer reported a bad smell and possible bones near Black Bass Lake. The responding constable came across a dead deer.

11:45 p.m. – Complaint came in about an intoxicated male at an apartment complex. Constable did not encounter anyone matching the description.

October 13

12:47 a.m. – Constable found trespassers in a business that had been closed for a while and warned them not to return to the property.

5:56 a.m. – Constables had to move fallen tree limbs off a roadway.

12:34 p.m. – There was an accident in the courthouse parking lot.

4:49 p.m. – Vehicle parked in a No Parking zone was decorated with a citation.

9:43 p.m. – Constables responded to an address for a theft report and arrested an intoxicated male.

11:58 p.m. – Individual at a restaurant spoke with constables about a civil issue.

October 14

6:38 a.m. – There was an accident in a parking lot.

7:06 a.m. – Constable assisted EMS with an inebriated person who was transported to ESH.

2:09 p.m. – Noise complaint came in about a person playing loud music in Basin Park. After a couple of words with a constable he took his show elsewhere.

2:28 p.m. – Same concerned neighbor called again about her missing neighbor. Constable was able to speak with the party of concern and learned everything was okay. Constable urged him to call family members.

10:09 p.m. – Resident reported a missing vehicle. The constable went to gather information and found the car just farther up the street.
