At the Sept. 23 city council meeting alderman David Avanzino did not say that because Eureka Springs is a tourist destination, the community has to accept that noise can happen, that it can be a sign that someone is doing good business. Alderman Autumn Slane said that, and Avanzino followed up saying that when his business had noise complaints he listened to his neighbors and made changes to the business to control the noise in order to be a better neighbor.
