A special meeting was held on Friday, Jan. 30 to approve the city’s 2026 budget. Aldermen Terry McClung, Harry Meyer, David Avanzino, and Steve Holifield were all present. Finance Director Michael Akins affirmed there had been no changes to the budget since the previous meeting. The resolution (number to be established) adopting the city’s 12-month budget, passed unanimously.
