CCSO 2019 activity at Holiday Island

Cpl. Aaron Ingle of the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office provided the year-end activity report for Holiday Island at Monday’s meeting. Ingle said there were 2,001 calls for law enforcement assistance: 58 alarms, 38 agency assists, 57 animal calls, 11 breaking and entering calls, three child abuse calls, 123 civil calls, 66 civil process calls, eight criminal mischief, two commercial burglaries, one dog bite, 60 domestic violence calls, five DWIs, 454 patrols, 23 fraud cases, four gunshot calls, 16 harassment calls, three illegal dumping, five missing persons, one loud music, five vehicle pursuits, 22 reckless drivers, 13 residential burglaries, 14 stolen/recovered vehicles, two suicides, 132 suspicious vehicles/persons, 35 theft of properties, 28 trespassing, six unattended deaths, 53 welfare checks, 16 felony arrests and 34 misdemeanor arrests.  Also noted were 180 traffic stops (of which 68 were given citations and 112 warnings) and 54 accidents.
