CAPC hires office coordinator

City Advertising and Promotion Commission held a special meeting on Monday, Dec. 13 for the purpose of the hiring of an office coordinator with commissioners Melissa Greene, Harry Meyer, Carol Wright and Chair Jeff Carter present.

The commission moved into Executive Session and upon return moved to the hiring process. Greene took a moment to explain that the commission oversees hiring and termination of employees but they would go with the recommendations of their Executive Director.

Greene motioned to hire Libby Johnson at $18 per hour and she will begin in two weeks. The commission will do a background check before hiring. Meyer seconded and vote of approval was unanimous
