Robert Kennedy, 38, a candidate for Carroll County Sheriff, was arrested Monday on a variety of charges.
At press time, Kennedy had still not appeared before a judge, and a spokesman for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office declined to describe the incidents earlier Monday that led to the charges. He confirmed that Kennedy was scheduled to appear before a judge on Wednesday, facing charges of terroristic threatening, residential burglary, second-degree battery, and two counts of assault on a family or household member.
