Back in town for an encore performance is the dynamic duo of Brett n Terri from Hackett, Arkansas. Brett Hamman on guitar has a deep country crooner sound that brings to mind campfires and cowboys, while Terri Swint on keyboards has a strong voice that can go from Stevie Nicks to Alicia Keys. Also part of the band Terri and the Executives, these two have been playing music together for years and love to entertain. Playing classic country, Southern rock and even Pop music, they put on a great show with something for everyone. You can hear them Saturday from 2-4 at the Rowdy Beaver Den and again at 7 p.m. at Rowdy Beaver Tavern.
One of the best things about Eureka Springs is our willingness to take care of one another, and this weekend presents just such an opportunity. Chelsea’s is hosting a benefit on Sunday at 2 p.m. for Scott Higginbothen, a Eureka musician who is having serious health problems and needs expensive treatments. Scott most recently played lead guitar for About Time and Starseed. There will be an auction and donations are welcomed. This is a jam session open to everyone, so bring your instrument and play for a cause.
