Bigly is not some weird variant of his favorite “huge,” but it is a word from the early 1500s whose first meaning is “with force or violence,” and whose second meaning is “Loudly, boastfully, pompously.” All of which breathes new life into the old adage, “even a blind pig gets some nuts.”
