Betsy Jean Bell of Eureka Springs, Ark., was born December 9, 1950, in Berkeley, Calif., to Harold and Dorothy (Lavie) Elliott. She passed away May 12, 2019, in Eureka Springs at age 68.
Betsy was an avid reader, animal lover and enjoyed gardening. She loved spending time with her family.
In 1981, she was united in marriage with Tracy Bell who survives her of the home. She is also survived by two sons, Joshua Allee of Eureka Springs and Eli Bates and wife, Inger Svendson, of Eureka Springs; sister, JoAnn Miller of California; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many close friends.
Betsy was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dorothy Elliott.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Humane Society, 6486 62 E., Eureka Springs, AR 72632.
