Ayn Dantzler was born in Natchez, Miss., on Dec. 6, 1957, and departed this life July 18, 2017. She is preceded in death by her brother Edward “Eddie” Dantzler, father Julian “Frank” Dantzler, mother Maggie Bell Dantzler, and best friend Lucy.
Ayn is survived by daughters Jeri Ann Malina and Jeannie Renee Hall; son-in-law Jason Malina; niece Tanya Dantzler, nephew Garrett Dantzler; and soul brother, Leroy Olson.
In her heart Ayn made so much room for all of us. In the 17 years Ayn lived in Eureka Springs she loved and enjoyed the many friends whose lives will always reflect the love and laughter she brought to town.
Ayn will be celebrated on Sunday, July 30 with a second line beginning at noon on Center Street and proceeding to Chelsea’s for live music and a potluck from 1 p.m. til 5 p.m. A memorial fund has been set up at Equity Bank.
