Anita Joleen Taylor joined the angels Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, at age 77. Anita was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., on Jan. 26, 1942 to Hershel and Geraldine (Warden) Milligan.
Anita was of the Episcopal faith, and was very close to her Al Anon family, who brought her great joy, peace, and fellowship. She has been a resident of Eureka Springs for more than 40 years and carried a love of her community.
Anita is survived by daughters Darienne Taylor and Angie Taylor both of Eureka Springs; son Kyle Egan and daughter-in-law, Nicole, of Minneapolis, Minn.; grandchildren Devin Duncan, Dillon Jackson, Glory Ann Leggett and Mica Egan; great-grandchildren Jaden Duncan and Madden Lester; brother Chet Milligan and his wife, Sandra, nephew Charles Milligan, niece Kari Dawn Williams and five great nephews and nieces, Mason, Peyton, Greydon, Max and Molly. She will be missed by family and a multitude of friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, 28 Prospect Ave, Eureka Springs, Ark., followed by a reception. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
