Editor,
I was arrested on Thursday, March 14 by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.
I would like to thank several people who work at the jail
First, Deputy Combs – the officer who took me to the jail. He was so kind and gentle. I explained to him that I had injured shoulders, and he kindly used 2 sets of handcuffs so my shoulder would not be so tight behind my back.
Officer Hobbs, who checked me in.
Sergeant Harris who took my mugshot and asked many questions.
Cpl. Dee Engalls.
There were several there that I never got their names, but everyone was so kind and professional.
I am 64 years old, never been arrested, and didn’t know what to expect.
Last but not least, I thank Judge Ramsey who released me on my own recognizance, I had to pay No Bail.
Thank all of you again for your kindness.
