From one busy weekend to another, and people try to say Eureka Springs gets sleepy as we near the holidays. Clearly they don’t participate in the Folk Fest. From the Hedgehoppers and The Barefoot Ball on Thursday to music in the basement of the Aud and in the Aud proper on Friday and Saturday, plus every venue in town ready for the musical weekend, it’s amazing we ever get any time to sleep! I’m especially excited for the guitar and violin duo of Tim Hillwood and Aviva Tu this Thursday at the Crescent Hotel. Both are fantastic musicians in their own right and the special venue of the East Lawn is sure to give the concert an almost mystical air. Tickets are on reserveeureka.com of course. The music in the Auditorium Basement is free and vendors will have booths set up! Never too early to get that holiday shopping started.
