It’s Folk Festival this week and that means there’s a lot of music to hear from Friday through Sunday. Now down below we have some great selections like Chucky Waggs at Chelsea’s Saturday or 96 Miles at Gravel Bar both Friday and Saturday. If you are looking for Folk Fest you can check out Page 3, they have an ad that has the massive list. If you’ve got a 3rd grader in the family of course you’ll know of the Hedgehoppers on Friday. There’s also three days of free music in Basin Park, a total of 16 artists and bands, so expect downtown to be filled with the best of folk. If you see me in Basin Park, wave and I’ll take your photo. Until then I’m going to stay on my Bowie kick. Not sure what sparked it but I can’t get Life on Mars? out of my head most days. ~j
