And it’s made the rainy day easier to handle

Melissa Carper, ½ of Buffalo Gals, held a release party for her new album at Gotahold Brewing on Sunday. In fact photographer Tavi Ellis captured the event and you can check those out this week. Back to the album though, I absolutely love every second of it. The vintage sound evokes thoughts of driving down a sunny dirt road in an old and trusted pickup truck. It’s a calming alternative that I have listened to multiple times today even before I started writing the Soul and I can’t wait to get home to hear how it sounds on not cheap ear buds. I think my favorite part is just how warm it is to listen to and how light and heartfelt it feels. Of course Melissa Carper and Buffalo Gals aren’t the only amazing artists who play in town so don’t forget to look below for more. ~j
