In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, October 2025, we’re asking our Carroll County community to help us raise $27,000 in 27 days so we can continue supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
Why $27,000? Cycles of abuse costs our county an estimated $27 million each year through over-burdened courts and law enforcement, increased physical and mental health care needs, lost productivity, and kids missing school.
Why now? We lost all federal funding as of Oct 1, 2025, despite being the only resource center in Carroll County for domestic and sexual violence and Arkansas ranking 10th in the nation for domestic violence rates (40% of Arkansans experience intimate partner violence), 2nd in the nation for sexual assault rates, and one of only 9 states with no budget for advocacy services like ours
Without us, survivors have nowhere to turn for crisis intervention, safety planning, emergency shelter, court advocacy, and life-rebuilding support. We are the only organization in Carroll County providing 24/7 crisis support, safety planning, and advocacy to break these cycles.
Help us Raise $27,000 in 27 Days! That’s less than 1/10 of 1% of the annual cost to our community, but it’s enough to serve 30 more survivors and their families – providing crisis support, emergency shelter, court advocacy, and the resources they need to rebuild their lives free from violence. We’ve seen a 130% increase in clients served since 2020 – proof that when people know help is available, they reach for it.
