A little cardio helps keep me sane

Ange, Leon, and I went out to Leatherwood Ballfields for a peaceful walk. I got to try out a “back carry” with Leo and it was successful. Two walks around the baseball and soccer fields and our legs were quite sore. Normally, I’d be more accustomed to walking a lot due to a busy spring, but my weekly cardio is on the short side due to a lack of events to cover.

Magnolia Brown is the band I’m listening to today and my ears love what they are hearing. A five-member Southern rock band with an emphasis on jam, each of their songs has a long section where the artists go ham. You can’t tell I’m hungry can you? Their bio says none of their shows is exactly the same and I’m inclined to believe it. They are scheduled to play on May 15 at Chelsea’s and I’ll keep my fingers crossed that’ll be true (It’s not labeled as cancelled on Chelsea’s Facebook page). If it is though, you can always listen to them on reverbnation.com.

I leave you all with this card that was found on our newspapers at Hart’s. Whoever made it needs an editor as they spelled Republicans wrong. I’d call and tell them about their egregious typo but there isn’t a phone number on the card, or any contact info for that matter.
